April 25, 2008 was the most amazing day of my life – our wedding day!

I seriously did not realize how much that day would mean to me, until at our reception. At one point, I just stopped and looked around and said to Mike “I never want this to end. We have everyone in the world that we care about and love the most here with us right now.” Of course, he agreed. It is something that you have to experience to truly understand.

That being said – thank you to any one reading this who attended our wedding. It is a blessing to have you in our lives and we appreciate you more then you will ever know!

 

We were married at Our Lady of Fatima Churchin Secane, PA followed by a reception at Springfield Country Clubin Springfield, PA. Our wedding coordinator at the Country Club, Janet, was great! I must have called her or emailed her once a week in the two months leading up to the wedding, and she never made me feel like I was being a bridezilla! lol

We have the most amazing photographer – Geoffrey Horowitz, Leapfrog Photography! I was beyond thrilled with our results and would recommend him to anyone. He made us feel so comfortable and he just has the best personality and is so easy to work with.

phillies photo day July 28, 2009

On Saturday, July 25th, we attended the Phillies Photo Day – Sponsored by Dreams Resorts & Spas and Apple Vacations. It was a great opportunity to greet the players and have pics taken with them… as long as you don’t mind fighting off the crouds. Erica and I decided we were going to let the guys take pics of us while we posed with the players!

While some of the players seemed to care less about meeting fans or coming near themfor that matter (as you can see in my pics), others seemed just thrilled to meet the fans. And, we were more then thrilled to meet them.

Of course the best part was meeting the Philly Phanatic himself. Mike and I took a pic with him in the suite when he came to visit, and he took Mike’s visor off and made is sideways. So cute! He also called my girlfriends son, Ayden, on to the field with him since he was turning three the next day. I think it made him month!

If anyone has the opportunity next year, jump on it! It was a lot of fun, despite the heat!

we need a break… July 13, 2009

Well, after all of the excitement came crashing down, only pain and sorrow were left. So, we decided that we needed a vacation. We decided on Mexico and the following two resorts:
Zoëtry Paraiso de la Bonita and Secrets Maroma Beach. Both beautiful and enchanting in their own little ways.
